When attending classes at Jenny's Pole Studio, students are expected to:

• Engage in safe, responsible behavior according to the guidelines and parameters set by the instructor. 
• Treat themselves, their instructors, and other students with respect at all times during lessons. Bullying and abusive language will not be tolerated
  • This includes the use of language or materials which are sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or otherwise demeaning to others
• Give the instructor their full attention during warm up, cool down and demonstrations.
• Use of phones is permitted only for taking photos/videos, but calls must be taken outside so as not to disrupt class.
• Not attempt tricks that are not in the lesson plan for the class unless given explicit consent to do so by the instructor
• Not attempt to teach or offer spotting to other students unless advised to do so by the instructor leading the class.
• Ensure all jewellery is removed before class begins. This includes rings, watches, bracelets, or anything that may scratch or damage the poles or cause injury to the student. Body piercings may be left in at the discretion of the student, but Jenny's Pole Studio accepts no responsibility for any injury caused as a result of this. 
• Students must not attend class with new tattoos unless the skin has healed or is well covered to mitigate the risk of infection for themselves or others.
• Not attend pole classes under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs for their own safety and that of others.
• Not attend class when unwell or injured when this could affect their ability to safely participate in the lesson. Students who choose do so will be made aware of the risks by the instructor teaching the class and accept responsibility for doing so.
• Arrive 5 minutes before the start of class. Students who arrive after the warm-up may be refused entry for safety.
• Inform their instructor promptly if they are unable to attend their lesson for any reason.
