Our Ethos
At Jenny's Pole Studio, we believe that pole is for every body and that you don't need to change yourself to start your pole journey. There are no strength or fitness requirements to try pole fitness and that everyone's poledance journey and goals are unique.
We feel strongly that pole studios must recognize and respect the strip club origins of the pole dance and fitness industry, as well as maintain a high standard for the quality and safety of pole tuition.

Our Mission
Through ongoing personal and professional development, we strive to offer accessible, safe, and fun pole dance classes to anyone who is interested and to create a positive learning environment free from the anti-sex work sanitization of the pole industry.
Our Team
Jenny - Head Instructor and Owner
Jenny is from Tucson, Arizona and has been completely hooked on poledancing since her very first class in 2014 at Tucson Pole Fitness. It was after moving to Norwich, England to pursue her master's degree that she decided to become an instructor and, three years later, opened her own studio in January 2020.
Jenny believes passionately that poledancing should be made accessible to anyone who wants to pursue it and in honoring the strip club origins of pole. She teaches all levels of pole and especially loves teaching choreo and heels classes and holds certifications from Spin City and XPERT to teach all levels of pole, flexibility, and heels classes. Her favorite pole trick is Jade split. |
Kalene - Senior Pole Instructor
Kalene started pole dancing in 2019 and was hooked from the first move. She is proud to be one of Jenny’s original baby polers and was blown away in 2021 when she was asked to train as an instructor. It had never occurred to Kalene before that this would be a possibility and jumped at the chance.
Kalene is XPERT certified in Pole Levels 1/2 and 3/4 and teaches Beginner Pole, Intermediate Pole, and Pole Choreo. She instills in her students the importance of working through all foundational moves and gets a buzz off getting the best out of her students. She is known for her bendy back, pointed toes, and love for any unloveable move (think teddy, superman, and laybacks). |
Lovey - Studio Happiness Executive
Lovey is far too busy for social media, but often makes guest appearances on @genesispoles
|
Lovey is an 11-year-old Chihuahua. She moved from Arizona to Norwich in May of 2023 to live with Jenny and start her new job at Jenny's Pole Studio. Lovey got to work immediately, greeting students and overseeing the day-to-day running of the studio. Her input has been invaluable!
Lovey usually works on Fridays and Saturdays but her schedule is flexible so you might see her throughout the week in her office (crate). She is a very busy little lady, so if you'd like to say hello, please ask Jenny and she will let you know when Lovey is free. Lovey's favorite puppy pole tricks are 'turn', 'sit', and 'crawl' and her favorite snack is a carrot. |
